We are excited to welcome Nico van Hoepen to the Ex Mente team. Nico has worked with some of our other team members in the past, and we are thrilled that the opportunity has arrived to work together again.

Nico qualified as a chemical engineer at the University of Pretoria, and has spent most of his career in the pyrometallurgical industry at some of the leading design houses. He has a wealth of experience across different commodities, and he has been involved in numerous projects on six of the seven continents, the exception being Antarctica of course. He has helped guide several projects from concept through to commissioning.

Nico’s skills and experience complement those of our team well, and as a senior member of Ex Mente’s process engineering team, we know he will help our clients gain insight into their processes and operations. One of his key strengths is his ability to dissect complex issues and systematically think through the various aspects to improve understanding.

Over the years, Nico has proven himself to be a valuable part of all the teams he has worked in, both from a professional and personal point of view. We are grateful to have you in the team and look forward to many fulfilling years of working and learning together, Nico. Welcome to Ex Mente.
